FAQ on Women, Environment, and Health
What is Women, Environment, and Health?
It is a NGO -- a non-governmental organization, much like non-profits in the United States. We call it WEH for short.
What is its purpose?
To assist a number of villages in the rearing of AIDS orphans, to empower women, to improve the environment, and therefore the health of residents of these villages.
Who is a part of it?
“We are a cross section of women in Cameroon. There are women with very little education and there are women with doctoral degrees in teaching and social work. We have medical and government workers and women representing the villages we serve. The number one requirement is to have a big heart in order to love through giving time, money and food.”
Do they have a webpage?
Yes, it is http://www.weh-fse.com. Warning: It's in French.
