Friends of Women, Environment, and Health

Our mission is to support the work of Women, Environment and Health (WEH), a non-government organization (NGO) in Cameroon. 

Our current emphasis is on ensuring that orphans and vulnerable children will be able to remain in school by paying for their school fees, books, uniforms, and other expenses. We also provide funds for keeping the children healthy, as we are able.  

Our other goals are to assist Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, in its biennial nursing internships in Cameroon, and to help WEH raise the status of women in any way possible.

Four of our board members -- Carol Hosler, David Groff, Sherry Archer, and Barbara Stone --  spent January of 2009 and 2011, in Cameroon.  

We are proud that our work strongly supports the Millennium Development Goals.

How to make a contribution.  All contributions are tax deductable. Because we have virtually no overhead, you can be confident that your contribution directly helps WEH's clientele in Cameroon.
